Vapid Lacquer:Swatches and Review

Hello and Welcome!!
How's your day going? Have you bought any new lacquers lately? These colors I have might have your jaw dropping and your hands reaching out for your pocket book. I know its tempting me. Unfortunately I have to wait for pay day. I have seven Stunning lacquers made by Vapid Lacquer also known as Smelly Goods & Pretties. I have purchased from her before but not for polish. She not only sells nail polish but she sells lotions, soaps, lip balms ect. I just love her lotions. I use mine everyday. When she reached out to me asking to review her polishes I was so so excited.I have been following her on Facebook for awhile and I have been admiring all these new colors she has created and released. Let me just show you some of these beautiful creations she has sent to me to review. Lets look below.
"WhatzHerFace"
This is a berry colored linear holographic polish. I applied only 2 light coats. It applied smooth with no problems. This is currently out of stock in her shop but I'm sure she will be restocking it soon.
"Stun Gun"
This is a lovely pink cream polish with a turquoise shimmer. I applied 2 light coats with a top coat. The turquoise shimmer makes this polish so perfect. It is one of my favorites.
"Orange You Special"
This is a bright orange linear holographic polish.I applied 2 light coats with a top coat. This is available is the shop in the full size and mini size.Every-time I look at this polish I want some Orange soda. LOL
"Triggers"
This is a duo-chrome that shifts red to blue. I applied 3 coats but 4 coats would get it completely opaque,I just prefer 3 because it makes it perfectly opaque for me. I really am in love with this polish even though its difficult to capture its true beauty on camera. It applied so perfectly and is so glossy. This polish is beyond beautiful. I didn't even have to apply top coat. I'm telling you it's GLOSSY!!
"Naughty-CLE"
This is a jaw dropping teal cream polish. I applied 2 light coats with no top coat. This polish couldn't be any more perfect. No streaks and applied smooth like butter.
"Showers & Flowers"
This is a Beige/Nude based crelly with lavender, pink and teal glitters in various sizes. My polish seems to be more pink than nude. Maybe she reformulated it. I applied 3 light coats with a top coat. This is a beautiful polish and it applied with no problems.
"Rapid Cycling"
This is a duo-chrome that shifts blue to purple with some added shimmer. This color is very similar to "Triggers" but they have different colored shifts. This color is also super glossy which I LOVE! I just love me some natural glossy polishes. This color is also hard to capture but in person looks so amazing. I applied 3 coats with no top coat.
I present you something beautiful and yummy looking. I did some dry marbling using 3 of Vapid Lacquer's polishes that I reviewed. I used NAUGHTY-CLE,Orange You Special and Stun Gun. How do you dry marble you ask???? Look below for instructions.

Step number 1:
Apply  a base coat of your color choice.(Don't Let it dry)

Step number 2:
Pick out colors of your choice and place dots all over you nails.(I recommend doing 1 nail at a time)

Step number 3:
Get a tooth pick and make swirls or lines through all the dots you made, whichever you prefer will be fine.
Keep adding dots if you don't think you have enough and make more swirls.

Step number 4:
Wait for it to dry and add a top coat

You may not like the design or colors you mix up but don't give up. It happens to me all the time. That's why I prefer to do one finger at a time.

Trying out Vapid Lacquers polishes for the first time was so much fun. Her colors are perfect and so is her formula. I had a lot of fun playing around with them. I LOVE all her products. She's got mad skills and I totally recommend you trying out her products if you haven't yet. If you don't find a polish you like I bet you will find soap or lotion ect that you like. She's got it all!! To find more information on her products follow her on Facebook and other social media.Links will be below.

Cinema Swatch Lacquers:Deleted Scenes Nail Polish Remover Review

Hello and Welcome!!
Today I have something HUGE to share with you. I was contacted by Rachel of Cinema Swatch Lacquers to try out and review a new product she has been working on for a while. This new product she made is a nail polish remover called "Deleted Scenes". Of course I accepted because who would want to pass up a scented polish remover. YES,I did say scented!!! She also mentioned that her nail polish remover moisturizes and has similar ingredients as Zoya's Nail polish remover. Say Whaaaat!?! I couldn't believe it. Isn't it amazing that an indie company makes their own nail polish remover!? How awesome is that!? I knew I had to try this stuff out for myself. Let me show you and tell you more about this product below.
"Chocolate Orange Slice"
The scent that was sent to me is called "Chocolate Orange Slice". When opening the bottle you can't really smell the scent. When it dries on your fingers is when the smell is more noticeable.Let me tell you, this scent does smell amazing. It's smells like I dipped my fingers in a bag of candy. Mmmmmmm!!!Yum! So I used this remover till it was all gone and I noticed that it did moisturize very well. My skin did not dry out and it was in no way harsh on my skin.It did not irritate my skin. In fact I found it to feel very similar to Zoya's nail polish remover. I really really love this stuff.Lets take a look below at the ingredients.
This is the ingredients label. You can find this label on the back of the bottle of the remover. The labels are not water or remover proof.I really think the labels need to be water/remover proof. As you can see above the wording on my labels are smeared. I accidentally had some remover drip down the bottle and it smeared the ink. Also I love my bottle and I don't want to just throw it away so I think having refills in Cinema Swatch Lacquers shop would be awesome. How cute are these bottles and labels?? Aren't they just perfect!? This is now in her shop with many other scents for $5. It's a nice size 4oz bottle.

Rachel also sent me one of her hand made Finger Fizzies. The Fizzie is in the first photo in my post. I have never used one of these so I was not sure how to use it. LOL I didn't know if it was some kind of soap or a moisturizer bar until I checked out her shop. I ran it under water just to see what it would do and it started to fizz up really fast. LOL I started to panic and grabbed me a drinking cup and filled it with water and dropped my Fizzie in there. I am such a rookie.Anyway I dipped my hands in the cup and instantly my hands felt so moisturized. I loved the feeling of the Fizzie fizzing against my hands,it's a cool feeling. When it was all fizzed out I noticed some things floating around. I looked at her shop and saw they are in fact real Lavender buds. So Cool!!
The Fizzie she sent me is called "Lux Lavender. This product is a must have.I need to order me some for sure. It smelled very fresh. You get a package of 3 Fizzies for only $5.

This is my first time trying out any of Cinema Swatch Lacquers products and I can honestly say that my experience was amazing. All of the above items are now available in her shop.Be sure to check out her Facebook and other social media for more information.

Model City Polish/Spring Collection

Hello and Welcome!!
Today I have a couple polishes from Model City Polish. These polishes are really beautiful. These polishes are from her new Spring Collection. She even sent me a glass file which is so awesome! I have heard a lot of good things about glass files and I can't wait to try it out. This collection will be available March 22. Lets check out these beauties below!!
(Left)April Showers (Right) Awaken to Spring
"Awaken to Spring"
This is a stunning clear base glitter topper with a mixture of colorful glitters in various sizes. Notice there is some pink dots,I just love dot glitters!!! I applied 1 coat of Awaken to Spring over 2 coats of LVX/Cliquote which is a pink/peachy color and perfect for spring then I applied top coat. I also finished this polish off by stamping over it.

"April Showers"
This is a dark blue jelly based polish with a mixture of pink, light blue glitter along with many tiny multi-colored glitters. I applied 3 light coats and a top coat. I also stamped over it with a baby blue polish with flowers to add some more of a spring look to it.

These polishes that I tried on applied extremely well with no issues of drying. April Showers has a slight matte finish to it so I recommend wearing a top cot with it. I can't wait to see everyone's swatches on the rest of the collection. What color is your favorite so far? Have you seen the rest of the collection? Head over to Model City Polish's Facebook and other social media to check them out. This collection will be released March 22nd.

Down the Bayou Lacquer/May the polish be Ever in Your color:Part2

Hello and Welcome!
Today I bring you Part 2 of the "May the Polish be Ever in Your Color":collection by Down the Bayou Lacquer. Some of the polishes had to be reformulated and sent to me. It was totally worth the wait.If you missed Part 1 of my review click here. Now lets take a look below.
"The Rebellion"
The Rebellion, a symbol of defiance and bloodshed, a rise against the Capital.
This is a brick red creamy subtle holo polish. I applied two light coats and no top coat. This beauty is absolutely hands down my favorite color in this whole collection. Jodi has switched out mica for something even more amazing that allows a smooth and shiny application. I had ZERO issues with this formula.I really felt choked up when I had to take this polish off. I love everything about this polish. It's Perfection!!
"Real or Not Real"
Peeta's favorite color that's the color of the sunset.Real or Not Real, you tell me.
This is a peach/orange cream polish with golden shimmer.I applied two light coats with no top coat. This polish is stunning. It has a subtle shimmer that adds character to the color. The formula is very smooth.
"Twisted Freedom"
When you are forced to kill to be free and fight for your life, that pretty much describes Twisted Freedom.
This is a baby blue creamy polish with a touch of holo. I applied two coats and a top coat. I took this polish outside in the sun and the holo seems to be hidden in the pretty blue cream so no sun shots were taken.
"Rue's Song"
This is the reformulated version. This color is on my first review on this collection. It didn't have enough holo so Jodi added a bit more. You can see the holo a lot more than you could with the first batch of Rue's Song. It gives off a small shimmer in the sun which is nice. Note that this color does stain your nails. Be sure to double up on your favorite base coat. I applied two coats with a top coat,no undies.

I am telling you, Jodi has really made some improvements this year. She has switched to a new formula and ordered new labels, wide brushes and matte caps for her bottles. I don't make her polishes look pretty, they make my nails look pretty. I am proud to review for Jodi, she is a sweetheart and a hard worker. She is so driven and keeps going no matter what and I respect that. To read up on more of this collection check out Down the Bayou Lacquer's shop and social media sites. Link will be posted below. If you missed my first half of my review on this collection  click here.
