Dollish Polish "Penny Penny Penny" Review

Last week I purchased my first polish from Dollish Polish. The color I got is called:
"Penny Penny Penny"
This color is so dang pretty in the bottle I just had to have it to see what it looked like on my nails. Once I did my mani I fell in love with it. Now I want another bottle. This is no lie. I love this polish that much. It might not go with everyone's skin tone but it goes with mine perfectly. I paid $10 for Penny Penny Penny. Its a 15 ml bottle. The polish is cruelty-free and 3-free!

(polish does not contain the chemicals Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Formaldehyde and Toluene).

"Penny Penny Penny"
This polish is a peachy copper base that has multiple sized copper hexagons and squares, with orange iridescent glitters. It is so perfect in my eyes. Its a milky base that applies smoothly. I had no issues with glitter clumping. The formula was made just right. Its not to thick and not to thin.

Models Own Fruit Pastel Set Review

Today I am going to be talking about the nail mail I got yesterday. I got the whole set of  Models Own Fruit Pastel Box. They are supposed to be scented which Im sure they are but I guess I was painting my nails so long I didn't notice a scent. It could also be that the fragrance is very light to where I didn't notice. 5 different pastel colors came in a set. The color are so pretty that I had to try them out. I have never used Models Own products before this. I think I paid $32 for the set. They arrived wrapped up tight in bubble wrap. Nothing was broken. Yay That make me happy to get my polish in one piece. The polishes are a good size. They are 14 ml.

Strawberry Tart, Apple Pie, Grape juice, Berry Muffin and Banana Split
( I just noticed I spelled Banana Split in the picture wrong lol) sorry about that

Banana Split ( 3 Coats)

Strawberry Tart ( 3 Coats )

Apple Pie ( 3 Coats )
It looks more like a mint color which is so pretty

Grape Juice ( 3 Coats )

Berry Muffin ( 3 Coats )

I love the colors but I would like the polish better if it was a thicker formula. It seems a bit runny. After you apply  3 coats of polish the colors look amazing
What do you think of the colors?
Have you tried this polish yet?

From The Hart Beauty and Baby Boutique Review

I have something special and all natural for everyone today. I was sent two products to review called.. "Fancy Feet Pedicure Soak" and "All Natural Sugar Scrub" from a wonderful company called..
"From The Hart Beauty and Baby Boutique".

Everything that I say and have done with the products are my own opinions and mine only. I have tested the products to review them to bring you all my honest feedback.

"From The Hart" is a new boutique that provides all natural products for mommy and baby.  It has  been open to customers since March 5th, 2012. The products in this boutique ranges from custom made burp cloths and blankets for baby to foot soak and body scrub for all the tired hard working mommy's out there . Being a stay at home mom of three boys I know how important it is to have the best all natural healthy products for the family. Moms know best is what I always say. For mom to take care of baby she needs products that can help her relax and wind down when the baby is down for a nap. Getting your hands on all natural beauty products and creams for baby and mom can be difficult but not anymore. I will be telling you about two products to help mom relax that are great for her skin.
Up in this photo on the left we have "From The Hart" Fancy Feet Pedicure Soak and on the right is
"From The Hart" All Natural Sugar Scrub. When my box arrived I noticed that the All Natural Sugar Scrub had leaked a little. It did not leak much so my product was not effected in any way. I brought it to the owners attention and she is going to package the products with more wrapping which is wonderful.

This is the" Fancy Feet Pedicure Soak"
The foot soak has a small amount of ingredients in it. It contains:
Baking soda, Sea salt, Epsom salt and essential oils.
Pink Grapefruit is the scent
What I like to do is add two tablespoons of Fancy Feet Pedicure Soak in warm water. I mix up the water and the salt till it dissolves some. I place my feet in the water for about 30 minutes and relax. To get the best results I recommend using the "All Natural Sugar Scrub". It works to exfoliate your dry feet. Just get a little and rub it all over your feet. your feet will feel pleasantly soft . The soak has a citrus scent with a hint of Pink Grapefruit. It makes my mouth water every time I open the jar. LOL
You can purchase this for only $5.00. It comes in 7 different scents.
  • Lavender
  • Peppermint
  • Eucalyptus
  • Tea Tree
  • Lemon Grass
  • Pink Grapefruit
  •  Ylang Ylang

This is the "All Natural Sugar Scrub" in Pretty Pink Grapefruit
The ingredients in this are:
Organic cane sugar, extra virgin olive oil, vegetable glycerin and essential oils.
This scrub can be used on your face to exfoliate or on your body. I love to use it on my hands. I apply a small amount on my hands and rub it all over my nails and cuticles to get all the dead dry skin off. I think it would be perfect to apply to your elbows and feet. Another way you can use this is as a face mask. What you can do is gently rub a small amount all over your face using a circular motion and leave it on for about five minutes. Then rinse it off with warm water. It will leave your skin feeling silky smooth but be sure to rub it on your skin very easily because if you have sensitive skin it can feel a little rough. It has a faint scent. It does not an over powering scent. Its a very light scent and pleasant. I did not find it to be irritating to my skin and I have very sensitive skin. That's what I love about the products, there is nothing that can irritate your skin because everything is natural and organic. This sugar scrub cost only $7.00. It very affordable and will last a long time. This comes in seven wonderful relaxing scents.
  • Pink Grapefruit
  • Brown Sugar Vanilla
  • Bergamot
  • Peppermint
  • Coconut
  • Coffee Bean
  • Lavender

I do recommend checking out her products. Who wouldn't love using all natural  products for mommy and baby?

This would make a perfect gift for a baby shower or Mother day or a birthday gift!

I you would like to check out more products from, "From The Hart" the links I post below will direct to her sites and boutique.

New SinfulColors Shine Collection !

There is a new SinfulColors Collection out at all Walgreens drug stores. It is called The shine Collection with Gel Tech. Alot of people ask.... "What makes this collection so different from the other SinfulColors polish lines?"
Well there is 31 new colors in this collection. Also the polish has Gel Tech which makes the polish really glossy and shiny. Its like having a gel mani without using a lamp.
I have done some swatches for all of you to see for yourselves. In my opinion I think this line is good but some of the polishes do stain so be-careful and try to keep from painting your cuticles. Also be sure to use a good base coat to keep the polish from staining your fingernails. I do think that it does not take long for the polish to dry.
I went to Walgreens the other day and bought 13 of the 31 new colors from the Shine line. They are $2.99 each. If you have not seen the Shine Collection in you Walgreens be on the look out. Im sure they will be soon.

I used 2 coats of polish on each finger

Most Sinful, In The LimeLight, I'm Blushing and Pragmatic

Man Hunt, Come Hither, Rendezvous and Devious

My Kryptonite (I just noticed its spelled wrong in the picture Opps), Skinny Dipping, Alfresco and At Sea

Rebel

I can say this new SinfulColors Shine collection has great colors. As for them raising the price, I would have to give that a thumbs down. The polish does have a shine because of the Gel Tech but some of the polish does not have much shine. You might have to add a top coat depending on the color and how you like your polish to look.

Go to Walgreens to check out all the colors. Dont forget to let me know what colors you get and what you think of the Gel Tech. I would love to read all of your opinions ;)

Spellbound Nails Polish review

Hello Ladies! Today I bring you some pictures of some stunning polish and some different ways you can wear them. Spellbound Nails was so sweet and sent me a couple samples of her polish from her polish line  to review. I was so surprised and I feel honored to share her polish line with all of you. All of the polish made by Spellbound Nails are 3 free and hand mixed. Everything I say and  post are my opinions and mine only. I was not coached in any way on what to say or post.I am happy and so excited to share my pictures of how this amazing polish turned out.

This polish is so pretty. It is her new line and its a Alice In WonderLand themed lacquer line (Down The Rabbit Hole).
I absolutely love the color blue. I think it goes so well with my skin tone. I love how Spellbound Nails has decorated the lids on every bottle. The heart decoration is adorable. I did not have any issues with the hearts falling off when opening the polish which is awesome because I like my decorations to stay in tact. Lets get to some mani photos which I am so excited to show you all. I guarantee you will love this polish.

This polish is called Impossible Things. The formula is very smooth and easy to work with.
I used (2 coats) of polish in this photo.

(2 coats)

This is (3 coats) that I applied. Impossible Things sure does make impossible things look possible. I feel this polish will look good on any skin tone. It shines beautifully. I need to add I did not use a top coat in this photo and it still looks glossy.

(3 coats)

You can purchase Impossible Things for $8.00 for a full 15ml bottle

This is a glitter top coat but can be used by itself or over another polish. It is called Grin & Bear It. The polish has medium teal and  turquoise and silver glitter flowing through the bottle with very small black glitter surrounding the rest of the glitter. In this photo I have applied (1 coat) of the polish to my nails.

Grin & Bear It can be purchased for $8.00 and is a 15ml bottle as well

(3 Coats)
For the finishing touches I applied a top coat .

How gorgeous is both Impossible Things and Grin & Bear It  together? It looks so amazing. I dont think I could ever separate the two. They belong together. Aww
I just added on one coat of Grin & Bear It on top of Impossible Things.. and BAM!!! There you have it a perfect combination.

Tweets Polish Review

Hello everyone!! Happy Monday! I would like to share my honest opinion about a polish I have recently tried out. Over the weekend I have been reviewing this new polish that was released in Walmart. It is called Tweets:) .They are only sold in Walmart. Unfortunately they did not sell them in my Walmart so I had ask someone to purchase them for me and I bought them off of her. The polish cost $2.97 a piece. You can go to their website or ask them on Facebook to see if your Walmart carries them. Tweets come in 30 trendy colors. They also have unique names. They are all acronyms you would use in tweets which is very cute. The polish is 6.5 ml.

Tweets IS

  • water based
  • better for you
  • non-toxic
  • made in the USA
  • virtually odor free

with NO

  • Phthalates
  • Parabens
  • Formaldehyde
  • Glutens
  • Toluene
  • DBP
  • Animal Testing
The experience I had trying Tweets out over the weekend for the first time was Ok I guess you could say. A few things I had issues with was that the brush left lines on my nails. It could of been caused by the formula of the polish too. I applied top coat over the top which made the line less noticeable. I do think that the bottles are the cutest and the lids are unique and I like how the lids have ridges to give you some grip when opening the polish. Another issue I had was that the formula had not been mixed properly. I found some particles in the polish that felt sandy and it left a few bumps on my nails. I noticed some discoloration.
For Example:
As you can see there is blue paint in the polish. I could not get it to mix in. This shows me that the formula was poorly prepared and not mixed completely . Beside that I love the colors and the design of the bottles and lid. I don't think I would pay $2.97 I would rather pay .99 cents a piece for them. To me that would be a reasonable price. The finishing look depends on the color of the polish and how you apply it. I bought 3 colors and I posted some pictures below to show you my finishing results. I have to say that it does look decent but its not my favorite.

This polish is called AFFA which means Angels Forever, Forever Angels. I love the color. Its a baby blue shade. I used 2 coats

2 Coats

In this picture you can see the particles I was talking about earlier that was in the hunter green polish.

This color is called ROFL. It is a reddish orange color. It to me looks like a metallic.ROFL means Rolling On The Floor Laughing. I applied 2 coats.

2 Coats

This polish is called YGTBKM which means You've Got To Be Kidding Me. In this picture if you look at my ring finger you can see the bump in the polish. This polish had many of those in the formula. I have no idea what they are. I do like the color.

I use 2 coats

This polish is not for me but you might have a different experience with it. I may of had a bad batch. I dont think I would ever pay $2.97 for it again. Have you tried this polish yet? If so I would love to read about what you thought of it.
