Model City Polish/Spring Collection

Hello and Welcome!!
Today I have a couple polishes from Model City Polish. These polishes are really beautiful. These polishes are from her new Spring Collection. She even sent me a glass file which is so awesome! I have heard a lot of good things about glass files and I can't wait to try it out. This collection will be available March 22. Lets check out these beauties below!!
(Left)April Showers (Right) Awaken to Spring
"Awaken to Spring"
This is a stunning clear base glitter topper with a mixture of colorful glitters in various sizes. Notice there is some pink dots,I just love dot glitters!!! I applied 1 coat of Awaken to Spring over 2 coats of LVX/Cliquote which is a pink/peachy color and perfect for spring then I applied top coat. I also finished this polish off by stamping over it.

"April Showers"
This is a dark blue jelly based polish with a mixture of pink, light blue glitter along with many tiny multi-colored glitters. I applied 3 light coats and a top coat. I also stamped over it with a baby blue polish with flowers to add some more of a spring look to it.

These polishes that I tried on applied extremely well with no issues of drying. April Showers has a slight matte finish to it so I recommend wearing a top cot with it. I can't wait to see everyone's swatches on the rest of the collection. What color is your favorite so far? Have you seen the rest of the collection? Head over to Model City Polish's Facebook and other social media to check them out. This collection will be released March 22nd.

Model City Polish

Hello and Welcome!!!

Today I have some polish from Model City Polish. This will be my first time trying out her lacquers. I have to say that after trying them I really liked them. I'm not a big fan on wearing black on my nails but the polish she sent looks breathtaking. I would have never thought they would look good on me. Ready to take a look at some pretties?? Lets go!

Names from left to right.....
Wanna Be your Boyfriend, Hey Ho,Let's Go! and
Sheena Is A Punk Rocker
This is called "Wanna Be Your Boyfriend"
This is a black jelly base full of blue dots and teal hexes. I applied 1 coat of "Wanna Be Your Boyfriend over 1 coat of SinfulColors/Black on Black. This can be worn on its own. If you prefer to wear it that way I would recommend applying 2-3 coats. I also applied a topcoat.

This is called "Hey Ho, Let's Go!"
This is a black jelly base with silver holographic squares, and hexes large and small. I applied 1 coat of "Hey Ho, Let's Go!" over 1 coat of SinfulColors/Black on Black followed by a topcoat. This also can be worn on it own. 2-3 coats should be applied.

This is called "Sheena Is A Punk Rocker"
This is a black jelly base with bright pink dots and fine silver and silver holographic glitter. I applied 1 coat of "Sheena Is A Punk Rockstar" over 1 coat of SinfulColors/Black on Black followed with a topcoat. This also can be worn on its own. 2-3 coats recommended.

Overall the formula was smooth and easy to apply. I didn't have any trouble with glitter taking over my nails. Sometimes to much glitter can be overwhelming at times. Not in this case. I was very pleased on how everything turned out.
Which color is your favorite? Do you own and polish from Model City Polish?
