Philly Loves Lacquer Anchorman Polish of the Month/March and April

Hello and Welcome!!

I know that the months of March and April has passed BUT Philly Loves Lacquer sent me her beautiful Anchorman Polishes for those two months to review.I was excited to get my hands on these because they are really pretty. As of right now I do see one of these polishes available in her shop. The one that is posted in her shop is called "Milk Was A Bad Choice"(April's APOTM).
Lets take a look below!
"Sex Panther"
This is a DARK navy blue polish packed with silver and blue flakies.
I applied 2 light coats and a top coat. This polish does stain so I recommend applying your favorite base coat before applying Sex Panther.
This polish is Philly Loves Lacquer's Anchorman Polish of the Month for March.I do not see this polish in her shop right now.
"Milk Was A Bad Choice"
This s a tan milky crelly base with a mix of brown, copper, and matte gold glitters of various shapes and sizes, with some white dots.
I applied 3 light coat and a top coat.I was not sure that this polish was going to go with my skin tone but to my surprise it looks absolutely beautiful on me.The formula is amazing and I had no issues with dry time.I am in love with this color and everything affiliated with it!
This polish is April's Anchorman Polish of the Month.

I get really excited about these monthly polishes.Esther from Philly Loves Lacquer has sent me May and June's Anchorman Polishes of the Month and I cant wait to show you!!

Fandom Cosmetics Star Wars Collection

Hello and Welcome!!

Yes!Fandom Cosmetics has released a Star Wars Collection!! This collection is not new to the world since it has been released at Fandom Fest but it is a new collection for us that have never been to Fandom Fest. This collection has 4 stunning holos and was inspired by lightsabers. Now we can finally get our hands on these holo-goodness blends.Go ahead, take a look below!

"Keepers Of the Peace"
This is a sheer purple jelly holographic polish.
I applied 4 light coats and a top coat. This color is very sheer but build-able.The formula is thin so you can apply more than 4 coats without it getting thick.I should have applied more than 4 coats but I think the way I layered it looks perfect.
"I am Your Father"
This is a raspberry red jelly holographic polish.
I applied 3 light coats and applied a top coat. This polish does stain so be sure to apply two or three coats of a base coat and clean up quickly so the polish wont stain your skin.Other than the staining I noticed small bumps when I tested this polish on a swatch stick but then when I applied "I am Your Father" to my nails I didn't notice any bumps. I blame the swatch sticks. Haha
"There is No Try"
This is a dark lime green jelly holographic polish.
I applied 3 light coats and a top coat.Again I AM OBSESSED WITH GREEN HOLOS!!! Don't worry I'm not screaming at you,I am just so excited that a green holo is in this collection. It is beautiful, wonderful, dreamy and OH So Sparkly!I was just thinking, wouldn't it be so wonferful if my desk was painted and smothered in all green holo paint? What an awesome desk that would be,Huh!Only in my dreams:( Oh well I can dream can't I? LOL
"NOOOO"
This is a dark blue jelly holographic polish.
I applied 3 light coats and a top coat. No staining, fast dry time and that sparkle are just a few things you have to look forward to when wearing "NOOOO".
Now look at this beautiful skittle mani I created with the whole Star Wars collection. This mani was inspired by Natasha of Fandom Cosmetics! After seeing her photos on Instagram I had to have a skittle mani too.

I had a lot of fun with this collection and I know you will fall in love with it like I did. Tell me,what colors do you Have to have?

Doctor Lacquer's CoHOLOrful Traits Collection Review

Hello and Welcome!!

Today I have Doctor Lacquer's CoHOLOrful Traits collection to show you. This collection is very unique. The reason I say it's unique is because every polish in this collection has two special effects, two of my favorite effects at that!Every polish in this collection is a holographic thermal. That's right!!!! Its a holographic polish that changes color with different temperatures.WAY COOL! This is my first experience ever using polish with these effects. I have to say,it's an experience that I will never forget. I had a BLAST playing around with this collection.
All my photos that you will see below were taken in sunlight.Let me just tell you,it was not easy.I had to bring outside a bowl of ice and a cup of HOT water. As soon as I dipped my nails in the water and got the color the way I needed it to be,then dried my nails of quickly, the color would change. It was difficult to say the least to capture the colors staying one color or capturing them in transition BUT I did it!
This collection is available for purchase. There is six beautiful colors to choose from, unless you choose to purchase them all.I think it would be extremely hard not to snatch them all up.
In this collection there is 3 colors that are Cold Sensitive and 3 colors that are Warm Sensitive.
Not sure what that means?Well no worries,Doctor Lacquer had made an article to explain all the details.Click Here to read more info on the difference between WARM and COLD sensitive.
Lets take a look below at this color-shifting collection,shall we?
COLD SENSITIVES
"Royal Luxury"
This is a cold-sensitive that shifts to carolina blue in (warm) to dusty purple in (cold) It is a thermal linear holographic polish.
I applied 3 coats with a top coat. This polish went on smoothly and dried fairly fast.
"Natural Flirt"
This is a cold-sensitive mauve in (warm) to taupe in (cold) and is a  thermal linear holographic polish.
I applied 4 coats and a top coat and it dried quickly. Now you will notice I only have 2 photos. That is because the color transition was faint and I could not capture it fast enough. You can notice the transition in the photos above but cant actually see them in transition mode.
"Malicious Pleasure"
This is a cold-sensitive cotton candy pink in (warm) to salmon pink in (cold) and is a thermal linear holographic polish.
I applied 4 light coats and a top coat. This color also is faint when transitioning, the reason for only 2 photos.
Warm Sensitives
"True Compassion"
This is a warm-sensitive cobalt blue in (cold) to light cornflower in (warm) and is a thermal linear holographic polish.
I applied 3 light coats and a top coat. This color is my FAV! This color has such a strong holo effect and thermal transition. I think this polish is PERFECTION and I hated to have to take it off. I wanted to wear it forever.(pouting)
"Optimistic Youth"
This is a warm-sensitive burnt orange in (cold) to pale chartreuse in (warm) and is a thermal linear holographic polish.
I applied 4 light coats and a top coat. This color also had a strong shift in color when in transition. This color reminds me of those apple suckers with the caramel smothering it,which I am now craving! If only I could get my hands on some right now I would be completely satisfied.
"Mysterious Love"
This is a warm-sensitive purple in (cold) to pink in (warm) and is a thermal linear holographic polish.
I applied 4 light coats and a top coat. This too has a strong shift in colors when transitioning

Overall I really really enjoyed this collection.Even though it was challenging to capture them in transition in the sun,I had a blast. I love a challenge and enjoyed watching them in action. The formula in this collection is thin which makes it build-able,which I love because some polishes can be to thick and still end up being too sheer. I had absolutely no problems with dry time,They actually dried pretty quickly.
This collection is straight up BRILLIANT! I have been waiting to own polishes in this form and now they are all MINE!

Smokey Mtn Lacquers/Collab Polish Review

Hello and Welcome!!

Today I have a special polish to show you. It is special because me and Kim from Smokey Mtn Lacquers put our heads together to create this beauty. For the whole month of May I will be reviewing for her and I am excited for what's in store for all of us. She has new formula which is 5-free,new brushes ect. This is going to be an amazing year for her along with all of us.Kim will be doing a pre-order on "BLITZ" until Saturday,6pm EST!!! Lets take a look at this beauty below!!
"BLITZ"
This is a stunning navy blue jelly polish with a mixture of silver, gold and pink holo micro glitters.
I applied 2 light coats and a top coat. To be on the safe side I recommend wearing a base coat.If you like your polish more opaque apply 3 coats. I love this polish looking a tad sheer,I would not have any other way.
Let me just tell you,my photos don't do this polish justice. In the sunlight, this color blings out of control. It is SO sparkly.
You might be wondering why I named this polish "BLITZ".Well no reason really.I just thought it was fitting. LOL

I'm so excited to be reviewing for Smokey Mnt Lacquers for the month of May.I have seen some sneak peeks of the new collection she will be releasing soon. If you would like to see these new colors, check out her Instagram and Facebook. I will post the links below.
What do you think of this color?
