Today I have another beautiful Spring collection to share with you.It is called the Spring 2015 Collection by Smokey Mountain Lacquers.This collection is now available for purchase.It consists of 8 lovely spring shades.Each polish will retail for $10 for full size and $6 for mini size. Hello Sunshine

Description:

Hello Sunshine is described as a medium golden beige with gold shimmer and glitter that shifts from gold to green to blue.

Application:

I applied 1 coat followed by a quick drying top coat.

Time Willows Tell

Description:

Time Willows Tell is described as a medium teal/mint green linear holo.

Application:

I applied 2 coats followed by a top coat.

You Gotta Lilac This

Description:

You Gotta Lilac This is described as a light shimmery purple linear holo with glitter that shifts from red to orange to yellow.

Application:

I applied 2 coats followed by a quick drying top coat.

Poppy Fields

Description:

Poppy Fields is described as a pink/red linear holo.

Application:

I applied 2 coats followed by a quick drying top coat.

Life's A Peach

Description:

Life's A Peach is described as a pastel peach linear holo.

Application:

I applied 2 coats followed by a quick drying top coat.

Pink About It

Description:

Pink About It is described as a pastel pink linear holo.

Application:

I applied 1 coat followed by a quick drying top coat.

Heart of Steel

Description:

Heart of Steel is described as a medium grey linear holo with gunmetal flakies.

Application:

I applied 1 coat followed by a quick drying top coat.

Wild Blue Yonder

Description:

Wild Blue Yonder is described as a light blue linear holo.

Application:

I applied 1 coat followed by a quick drying top coat.

Overall this collection has some amazing spring colors.Most of these polishes are one coaters but I decided to use 2 anyway.My favorites in this collection are Pink About It,Poppy Fields and Life's A Peach.

Shamrock Dreams

Description:

Shamrock Dreams is a fun olive green holo polish.

Application:

I applied 2 light coats followed by a quick drying top coat.

My Opinion:

I have to say,I don't have a color like this in my collection.It is a beautiful and unique shade,I think it looks fabulous.This polish is a tad sheer,I recommend a third coat to get more of a opaque finish.No issues to report.

Gentlemen Prefer Gingers 

Description:

Gentlemen Prefer Gingers is a orange holo.

Application:

I applied 3 easy coats followed by a quick drying top coat.

My Opinion:

The formula could not be better.The color of the polish is just so pretty and has a beautiful sparkle.Absolutely no issues to report.

Smokey Mountain Lacquers:Valentines Day Duo

Really?Is it almost that time???Love in the air.Hearts and flowers everywhere you go.Everyone kissing and getting all romantic.Blah Blah Blah I'm not much for romance but at the same time I'm not against it.Valentines Day is the day to reconnect with your love ones or sit down and enjoy a movie with friends and family while stuffing your face with yummy chocolate and popcorn.Now that sounds like a good time!Whether you're for or against Valentines Day you will love Smokey Mountain Lacquers V-Day Duo.Let's check them out below.

Always And Forever

Description:

Always and Forever is described as a fuchsia scattered holo that flashes purple.

Application:

I applied 2 light coats followed by a quick dry top coat.

My Opinion:

This has a beautiful sparkle to it.The amount of holo in the formula is perfection.I was told that the type of holo pigment in this shade is new to the Smokey Mountain Lacquers brand.The formula applied perfectly to my nails with no issues.

I also did a little stamping using images from plates Pueen 26 and Pueen 43.I used 16 Lilac stamping polish from Mundo de Unas and Konad Red.

Sugar Pie

Description:

Sugar Pie is described as a cotton candy pink scattered holo that flashes purple.

Application:

I applied 2 easy coats followed by a quick dry top coat.

My Opinion:

I really was not much into pinks at all,until I tried this beauty on. It is absolutely stunning! It has a lovely subtle sparkle that makes this polish even more beautiful.The formula is amazing.No issues to report.

I also did some stamping using my Pueen41 plate. I use Konad red stamping polish and 41 Copper by Mundo De Unas.I double stamped on my middle finger and it did not turn out how I wanted it to. I really wish I would have went back and done something different. My son was watching me and said,"Uh Oh,you messed up!" LOL

Smokey Mountain Lacquers:Heritage Collection

Hello and Welcome!!!

Hey,Hey,Hey!!!! How was your Holiday??What did you get?What did you give?I'm glad it's over.Back to saving money$!!Well......I have managed to break a nail again!!!! The same damn nail that broke a month ago that was so close to being grown out.Now I have two breaks!!!! I will show you this bummer at the end of my post and YES it's on my swatch hand.Errrrrr!!! 

Today I have a beautiful collection by Smokey Mountain Lacquers.It's called the Heritage collection and consists of 8 lovely foil polishes.This collection launches today at 8pm EST.Let's take a look below!!

Meda

Description:

Meda is described as a bronze foil polish. Meda means prophetess in Native American.

Application:

I applied 2 easy coats followed by a quick dry top coat.

My Opinion:

I really like it actually. I did not think it would look this good on me but WOW! It's such a beautiful shade!!It applied smoothly and the formula is perfect.It may apply streaky,it really depends on how you apply it onto your nails.

Delia

Description:

Delia is described as a black foil polish. Delia means dark in German.

Application:

I applied 2 light coats followed by a quick dry top coat.This one is actually a one coater and has a natural glossy finish.

My Opinion:

This is my favorite shade in this collection. The formula is so perfect.It applied opaque with one light coat and applied so evenly.The formula is the best and the foil makes this polish that much more fun.

Carmen

Description:

Carmen is described as a red foil polish. Carmen means red in British.

Application:

I applied 2 light coats followed by a quick dry top coat.

My Opinion:

This is a very beautiful and vibrant red!! WOW!!!! It's really amazing! No issues to report.

Teagan

Description:

Teagan is described as a yellow gold foil polish. Teagan is Irish for beautiful.

Application:

I applied 2 easy coats followed by a quick dry top coat.

My Opinion:

This polish applied nicely with no staining issues.

Kyna

Description:

Kyna is described as a purple foil polish. Kyna is Irish for love and affection.

Application:

I applied 2 coats followed by a quick dry top coat.

My Opinion:

This is a beautiful shade and applied perfectly with no issues.

Lorelei

Description:

Lorelei is describes as a salmon pink foil polish. Lorelei means temptress in German.

Application:

I applied 2 light coats followed by a quick dry top coat.

My Opinion:

LOVE LOVE this color!!! It is so perfect!When looking at the bottle I thought...."Oh this is pretty.WhenI tried this shade on my nails I was like...."Holy Cow! How beautiful is this?!"This shade totally surprised me. It's not only beautiful,the formula is amazing also.

Kamama

Description:

Kamama is described as a blue foil polish. Kamama means butterfly in Cherokee.

Application:

I applied 2 coats followed by a quick dry top coat.

My Opinion:

This is a beautiful shade of blue. No issues to report.

Jewel

Description:

Jewel is described as a green foil polish. Jewel means precious gem in British.

Application:

I applied 2 coats followed by a quick dry top coat.

My Opinion:

This polish applied a tad streaky,just a tad. It's still a fabulous shade. I love green polishes.No other issues to report.

And....The Broken Nail...Noooooo!

Just ignore how pathetic and ugly this nail is. It still has nail polish and nail glue on it. I didn't clean it up just because,let's face it..the damn nail is ugly anyway! 2 flipping breaks on one nail,just don't get better than that huh?I'm tempted to just file them down to nothing. As much as I want to blame it on the winter I cant,my kids did it. Yup,this is the result of trying to clam my kids down during a temper tantrum.When will I learn!!! LOL "Keep your distance from kids when they are upset,they are dangerous!! LOL

Midwinter's Midnight & Wipped Body Schmear by Philly Loves Lacquer

The 2 products above are made by Philly Loves Lacquer. You will get a beautiful linear holo nail polish and a moisturizing Whipped Body Schmear called Gingerbread Brulee.

Midwinter's Midnight

Description:

Midwinter's Midnight is described as a a dark blue linear holo with a lighter blue flash, blue and silver micro shimmer, and silver holo micro glitter.

Application:

I applied 2 easy coats followed by a fast drying top coat.

Opinion:

This polish applied smoothly with no issues at all.No staining to report.It has a beautiful holo shine when in the right lighting.I absolutely love this dark shade of blue.In my opinion this shade would look stunning on any skin tone.

Whipped Body Schmear-Gingerbread Brulee 

The Whipped Body Schmear is amazing. I applied it all over my body and instantly noticed that it didn't leave a greasy or oily feeling afterwards.This Body Schemer has the texture of pudding.It looks good enough and smells good enough to eat!(DON'T EAT IT)Trust me when you get this product you will want to rub it everywhere!It's that amazing!The smell will put you in the holiday spirit instantly,it smells exactly like a gingerbread cookie fresh out of the oven.It is paraben-free.

Reindeer Games & Cuticle Oil by Northern Star Polish

These two products above are made by Northern Star Polish.You will receive a holo nail polish and a scented cuticle oil called Gingerbread Brulee.

Reindeer Games

Discription:

Reindeer Games is described as a dark brown linear holo with flashes of green and purple.

Application:

I applied 2 light coats followed by a quick dry coat.

Opinion:

It's a lovely polish with a subtle holo sparkle.I didn't have any issues with it drying.It applied smoothly.The consistency was perfect,it was not to thick or to thin.

Nourishing Cuticle Oil-Gingerbread Brulee 

The cuticle oil is made by Northern Star Polish. It has the same fragrance as the Whipped Body Schmear,which I love! The cuticle oil comes in a roller ball 10ml plastic tube.It is vegan & cruelty free.

Ho...Ho...No!! & Pendant Necklace by Smokey Mountain Lacquers

The products above made by Smokey Mountain Lacquers is a scattered holo nail polish and a pendant necklace which matches the nail polish.

Ho...Ho...No!!!

Description:

Ho..Ho...No!!! is described as an antique red scattered holo.

Application:

I applied 2 easy coats followed by a top coat.

Opinion:

This applied nicely with no drying issues.The formula was silky smooth and applied with no issues.

Special Snowflake & One-Minute Anti-Aging Sweet Citrus Scrub by Digital Nails

The 2 products above are made by Digital Nails. You will receive a sparkly white nail polish and a anti-ageing sugar scrub.

Special Snowflake

Description:

Special Snowflake is described as a silvery white microflakie with flashes of red and green.

Application:

I applied 3 light coats followed by a quick dry top coat.

Opinion:

This polish applies as a full coverage polish. I would like to use it in some nail art one day.Maybe use it as a snow base or something.I did not have any issues with this polish.

One-Minute Anti-Aging Sweet Citrus Scrub 

This scrub smells amazing. I mean who doesn't like the smell of citrus.I love the smell of citrus any time of the year.This scrub will make your mouth water as soon as you open it.Also when you open the container,BE CAREFUL,this scrub does have liquid that sits on top of the scrub.If you open it to quickly the liquid might spill.To apply,I stir it up with a small spoon,then get a small amount and rub it gently all over my hands.Then rinse. Please do not use a lot of this product at one time. It will leave your hands feeling greasy.Use a small amount and your hands will be left feeling smooth,moisturized and smelling like lemons!
