Distressed Nail Art

Hello and Welcome!!

Today I purchased me some new beautiful nail polish from Sally's Beauty Supply. It turned out that they are having a red tag 50% off sale. I went straight to the nail polish and got me 4 Finger Paints polishes that only cost $1.50 each and I had to get me my 2 favorite colors from the Brazil collection by O.P.I.(The OPI's were not on sale) What a great haul!!!! When I got back home I wanted to try out a new nail art technique. It is some kind of distressed nail art. I will talk more about that later on in my post. I was inspired by polishedbybeckie on Instagram and she was inspired by Chalkboard Nails. Lets take a look at how my mani came out.
This technique is really simple. What I did was I picked a color for my base color which was SinfulColors/Cool Grey and painted my nails grey. Then I picked out four other colors. Then I got one color and brushed most of the polish off and streaked the brush down my nails. I did that with each color I had, so just apply as much streaks as you like. Then I applied a top coat. I also decided that this mani would look great stamped. I'm not sure how I feel about this technique. I liked it on others but I'm not sure I pulled it off that well. LOL How do you feel about this technique?

COLORS I USED........:
Essie/Good as Gold
Finger Paints/Curator's Crimson
Finger Paints/Art You Kidding Me?
O.P.I/Amazon...Amazoff
SinfulColors/Cool Grey

Thank you for Reading!!!
Y'all Come Back!!
XOXO!
