Philly Loves Lacquer/Fancy Winter Wench Collection

Hello and Welcome!!!!

Today I have a beautiful collection of polish called the "Fancy Winter Wench" collection by Philly Loves Lacquer. This is a collection of 8 stunning lacquers. There is 3 holos with micro glitter, 4 holographic polishes and 1 glitter topper. This collection is named for two divisions of the Philadelphia Mummers Parade: The Fancy Brigade" and the "Wench Brigade". Each color is named for a group in any brigade. For more information on each of the brigades and groups you can find more information at the  Philly Mummers website. The collection will be available for purchase on January 24th,2014 at 7pm EST. The full-size collection will be $85, and the mini size collection will be $42.50. You will be able to purchase a 4 bottle bundle of your choosing in either full size ($42.50) or mini size ($21.25). Individual bottles will be available only in full size, $12 for holos and $11 for the glitter topper.Lets look below at some swatches shall we!!?
"Clevemore"
This is a deep deep red scattered holographic polish. I applied 2 light coats and added a top coat. I didn't notice any staining but with any red you should be cautious and apply a base coat.

"The Pirates"
This is a black scattered holo with rainbow micro glitter. This polish is thick so you can definitely get away with applying one coat but in the photos above I applied 2 coats with a top coat. Now...this polish did seem to look a bit textured because of the micro glitter but applying top coat will smooth everything over giving it a beautiful smooth shiny finish. Either way both finishes look beautiful. I also decided that since the polish was thick that I would try to stamp with it. To my surprise this polish is perfect for stamping. I figured that since it had micro glitter in the formula that it might not transfer the whole image onto my nails BUT it did. Photos of it used in stamping will be coming up soon.

"Avenuers"
This is a light grey cream scattered holo with rainbow micro glitter. I applied 2 coats with top coat but 1 coat is enough. This polish is also thick like "The Pirates" is. It also looks to be textured when dry but apply top coat for a smooth shiny finish. As I mention above about "The Pirates" being a great polish to stamp with, this one is as well. I noticed that the formulas are thick and pretty much the same so I also stamped with this polish and it transferred perfectly onto my nails. Take a look below at the results.
The Pirates stamped beautifully as so did Avenures. It is just exciting to me how polish can be used for multiple things.

"Saturnalian"
This a a dark blue scattered holo and one of my favorites in this collection. I applied 2 light coats and a top coat. I am in love with this color. I bet I could also use it to stamp with. It has a thick formula that I'm almost 100% sure would work. I have not tried it yet but I will soon!!

"Golden Crown"
This is a whitened scattered holo with a gold and silver shift. Now..in the very first photo of Golden Crown I applied it on only 2 fingers over SinfulColors/Envy to show you how it can be used as a top coat and how it can change a color drastically but beautifully. One thing that I didnt think about was applying it alone until I read and saw The Lacquerologist's Review. She applied Golden Crown solo and it looks beautiful that way as well. Anyway I applied one coat of Golden crown over 2 coats of SinfulColors/Envy with top coat.

"Cara Liom"
This is a purple scattered holographic polish. I applied 3 light coats with a top coat.

"Froggy Car"
This is a bright lime green scattered holo with gold micro glitter and gold flakes. The name of this polish couldn't be more spot on , yes? (Frog/Green) Frogs are green. LOL I know you get it I'm just being silly. HA! Moving on......I applied 4 coats and a top coat. This color was very sheer but you might be able to pull it off with 3 coats but that just depends on you of course.

"Shooting Stars"
This is a clear base with silver glitter of various sizes and shapes making a beautiful dense glitter topper. I applied one coat of "Shooting Stars" over ""Cara Liom"" and "Froggy Car".
