Hello Sunshine

Description:

Hello Sunshine is described as a medium golden beige with gold shimmer and glitter that shifts from gold to green to blue.

Application:

I applied 1 coat followed by a quick drying top coat.

Time Willows Tell

Description:

Time Willows Tell is described as a medium teal/mint green linear holo.

Application:

I applied 2 coats followed by a top coat.

You Gotta Lilac This

Description:

You Gotta Lilac This is described as a light shimmery purple linear holo with glitter that shifts from red to orange to yellow.

Application:

I applied 2 coats followed by a quick drying top coat.

Poppy Fields

Description:

Poppy Fields is described as a pink/red linear holo.

Application:

I applied 2 coats followed by a quick drying top coat.

Life's A Peach

Description:

Life's A Peach is described as a pastel peach linear holo.

Pink About It

Description:

Description:

Description:

Overall this collection has some amazing spring colors.Most of these polishes are one coaters but I decided to use 2 anyway.My favorites in this collection are Pink About It,Poppy Fields and Life's A Peach.

Screw You,Groundhog! by Philly Loves Lacquer

Description:

Screw You,Groundhog! is described as a bright orange linear holo with a gold flash/shimmer.

Application:

I applied 2 easy coats followed by a coat of Rica's Glossy Glam top coat.

My Opinion:

How bright is this polish?I really like it.It puts me in the summer season mood.It applied nicely with no issues.

PHILLY LOVES LACQUER EXTRA:Could It Be Any Sunnier?! Linear Holo Top Coat

How pretty is this top coat?I think it looks perfect over Julep/Donna.I applied 1 coat of Could It Be Any Sunnier over 1 coat of Julep/Donna.

Electric Sun by Smokey Mountain Lacquers

Description:

Electric Sun is described as a bright yellow creme with yellow shimmer.

Application:

I applied 2 coats followed by a coat of Rica's Glossy Glam top coat.

My Opinion:

This is a fun bright yellow. It was a tad thick but easy to apply.I did not notice any staining.

SMOKEY MOUNTAIN LACQUERS EXTRA:Chocolate Angel Cake Cuticle Oil

This cuticle oil by Smokey Mountain Lacquers smells delicious.The scent is not strong,it has a sweet soft fragrance.I apply it onto my naked nails and cuticles to keep them from drying out during this nasty winter season.

To Thine Own Self Be True by Digital Nails

Description:

To Thine Own Self Be True is described as a saturated deep periwinkle creme with iridescent blue glitter, inspired by the meaning of the flower, honoring the freedom to be yourself, and to allow those you love to do the same.

Application:

I applied 1 light coat followed by a coat of Rica's Glossy Glam top coat.

My Opinion:

This polish was really thick but that did not bother me one bit.I'll take a one coater any day.This shade is beautiful right?I really like the added iridescent glitters.

DIGITAL NAILS EXTRA-Handmade Soap

You will be receiving this homemade soap by Digital Nails.It's very pretty and smells of bitter almond.It is very small but this sample will last you a while.

You're No April Fool by Rica

Description:

You're No April Fool is described as a magenta linear holo.

Application:

I applied 3 coats followed by a coat of Rica's Glossy Glam top coat.

My Opinion:

This is actually one of my favorite blends in this box. Isn't it pretty?Using three coats makes this polish perfectly opaque.I did not have any issues with this blend.

RICA'S EXTRA-Glossy Glam Top Coat

The Glossy Glam Top Coat by Rica is amazing!! It dries quickly with a glossy finish.

Description:

Shamrock Dreams is a fun olive green holo polish.

Application:

I applied 2 light coats followed by a quick drying top coat.

My Opinion:

I have to say,I don't have a color like this in my collection.It is a beautiful and unique shade,I think it looks fabulous.This polish is a tad sheer,I recommend a third coat to get more of a opaque finish.No issues to report.

Gentlemen Prefer Gingers 

Description:

Gentlemen Prefer Gingers is a orange holo.

Application:

I applied 3 easy coats followed by a quick drying top coat.

My Opinion:

The formula could not be better.The color of the polish is just so pretty and has a beautiful sparkle.Absolutely no issues to report.

The Beauty Quartet Box-Treat Yo Self-February 2015

Well New Years is sneaking up on us fairly quickly. Do you have any special plans? I know some of you could possibly get engaged!!! I really don't know,it's just a possibility.I'm just spiting words.That would be amazing though.I would love to get engaged on New Years.Most of you may think I am married.I am not,but I am by common law.I have been with my man for 14 years and no marriage yet.Hopefully we will take that step soon.It's a looong story why we are not....you know,married!I know it will happen one day.

Anyway let's talk polish!!!! This that I am sharing with you today is the Beauty Quartet Box for February.The theme is called Treat Yo Self.This box will contain polish from Philly Loves Lacquer,Smokey Mountain Lacquers,Digital Nails and the quest indie,Love,Angeline Polish.Sadly Northern Star Polish was involved in this box but had to leave due to time constraints.So bi-monthly there will be a new brand involved.Yes this box is a bi-monthly box which means every two months there will be a newly released Beauty Quartet Box.About the theme....Treat Yo Self.If you watch Parks and Recreation,you will immediately understand the reference. The Best Day Of The Year by Philly Loves Lacquer

Description:

The Best Day Of The Year is described as a dark fuchsia crelly filled with pink, dark pink, magenta, and red glitters of various shapes and sizes.

Application:

I applied 2 coats followed by a quick dry top coat.

My Opinion:

This is a very beautiful polish!! I love the color and combinations of glitters.No fishing for glitter was needed.This applied nicely with no issues.

Philly Loves Lacquers Extra:Annberry Sauce Lip Scrub

This photo above is Philly Loves Lacquers extra. It's a sugared strawberry flavored moisturizing lip scrub.How to use...Just pull that nifty tab right off,then rub your finger around in a circular direction.Then apply the product to your lips.You can either lick it off like I do or......gently wipe it off with a wash cloth.

Chocolate Waterfall by Digital Nails

Description:

Chocolate Waterfall is described as a dark brown jelly with gold, silver, and copper micro holo glitter.

Application:

I applied 2 light coats followed by a quick dry top coat.

My Opinion:

This is a fantabulous blend!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! The formula is slightly thick making this polish a one coater.I used 2 coats just because I felt like it. LOL No issues to report. This polish is so sparkly.If brown is not your color...it is now!!

Digital Nails Extra: Remover Improver

This photo above is Digital Nails extra. It's a remover improver that conditions nail polish remover and it's scented like Cocoa Puffs.!! Something fresh and new to the indie market. I'm sorry but this product is kick-ass!!!!The product comes in a glass vial.This is not nail polish remover.It's actually ingredients you add to remover that will soften you skin leaving it feeling moisturized and smelling amazing. It is water,glycerine,jojoba oil,almond oil and cocoa puffs fragrance. What I did was I got a mason jar,poured 8oz of acetone in it.Then grabbed my Digital Nails Remover Improver and poured the entire vile into my mason jar and shook it up really good.You will need a larger container if you will be mixing 8oz.Mine ended up being 1 1/3 cups instead of 8oz/1cup.

My first thought was that since this product did separate in the vial before mixing with acetone,it would separate in the acetone as well. WRONG: The product did not separate at all once it was shook up and mixed into the acetone. I let the jar of acetone sit for 16 hours and there was no separation at ALL! As for the scent....Have you ever opened a box of Cocoa Puffs cereal? Well it smells just like that. Yummy right? The scent is not strong or overwhelming. It's actually a pleasant sweet smell.

Emeralds are a Girls Best Friend by Love,Angeline Polish

Description:

Emeralds are a Girls Best Friend is described as a emerald green holo with green flakies and green shimmer.

Application:

I applied 2 light coats followed by a fast drying top coat.

My Opinion:

I'm adoring this polish so much!It is such a fun and pretty color. Love,Angeline creates some beautiful blends.This polish is thick and that's why it is a one coater. I used 2 just because ..but 1 coat is enough to get that opaque finish you want.No issues to report.

Stuck on Love Nail Shields by Love, Angeline 

Love,Angeline Polish's extra is a sheet of 10 heart shaped nail shields.When I peeled off the shields,the hearts came up with the shields as well. I did have to get tweezers and pull off all of the hearts one by one which made it very time consuming.The shield did stick to my nail really well. Unfortunately when pulling the shield off of my nail it did smear the hearts a little. Oh well I need practice.

Pleasure In Your Base by Smokey Mountain Lacquers

Description:

Pleasure In Your Base is described as a bright blue creme with a foil-y finish.

Application:

I applied 2 light coats followed by a fast drying top coat.

My Opinion:

The formula is perfection. Not to thin or to thick.This blue is the most radiant shade of blue in my collection.It's really pretty.

Rose-Scented Body Whip by Smokey Mountain Lacquers

Southern Fancies Rose Scented Body Whip is an extra by Smokey Mountain Lacquers.This lotion is very moisturizing and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and refreshed. No greasy or dry feeling after application. It had a faint rose fragrance that does not overwhelm the senses. I really love it and I know you will too.
