Glimmerella by Ever After Polish

Description:

Glimmerella is described as a amazing mash up of jelly and topper! Very similar to a full coverage glitter but made with pink and purple flakies instead. Hot pink micro glitter and holographic shimmer.

Application: 

I applied 3 light coats followed by a quick drying top coat.

My Opinion:

This polish is actually my favorite in this box.It is so sparkly with the perfect amount of sparkle and glitter.No issues to report.

Let It Go Sugar Scrub

Their are two different scrubs that will be featured in this box. One is a Sea Salt, Sweet Orange and Eucalyptus with coconut oil and vitamin e scrub. While the other is a brown sugar, lavender and tea tree with coconut oil and vitamin e.The one I received is the Brown sugar scrub. For best results use about the size of a dime and rub between hands massaging tops bottoms and between fingers. After one minute rinse with warm water and towel dry. Use twice a week for amazingly soft hands. The mini size jar holds r ought scrub to last 8-10 uses or 4-5 weeks.

Crystalline Frost by Aurora Lacquers

Description:

Crystalline Frost is described as a polish with blue shimmers and holo glitter in a light blue metallic base.

Application:

I applied 2 coats followed by a quick drying top coat.With one coat it does have a opaque finish.

My Opinion:

This polish applied nicely with no issues.I was not expecting to like this polish,it totally took me by surprise.I really love the color and finish,it shines so beautifully. 

She Ra's Soldier by Anonymous Lacquer

Description:

She Ra's Soldier is described as a metallic holo finish, Shifts from gold to white and silver.I do recommend a base coat. Due to the finish it can show imperfections on the nail. 

Application:

I applied 2 coats followed by a quick drying top coat.

My Opinion:

This polish is stunning! I am loving the shifts.This polish applied with no issues.It kind of reminds me of shiny pearl.Beautiful right?

She Sees All by Lavish Polish

Description:

She Sees All is described as a glitter topper inspired by Peekablue and her gorgeous feathers it is packed with turquoise, blue and gold holo glitters and gold shimmer. It's beautiful on it's own or over a base color. 

Application:

I applied 1 coat of She Sees All over 1 coat of SinfulColors/Cool Grey followed by a quick drying topcoat.

My Opinion:

Love this topper!!! The glitter sparkles and the colors of the glitter are perfect together.No issues to report.

Undersea Defender by ALIQUID Lacquer

Description:

Undersea Defender is described as a cerulean crelly with iridescent green and blue hexes and green and gold flecks. 

Application:

I applied 2 coats followed by a quick drying top coat.

My Opinion:

This is a beautiful blend.The color and mixture of flecks and glitter are amazing.This polish applied perfectly with no issues.

Pina Colada Scented Lip Balm

This lip balm is handmade and packed with natural moisturizers: mango butter, apricot kernel oil and olive oil (sources of linoleic and oleic acids and vitamins A, C, and E). (4 grams) It applies to the lips so smoothly and leaves your lips feeling moisturized for hours.

Boss Bitch by Finger Lickin' Lacquer

Description:

Boss Bitch is described as a hot pink holo with a gold flash.

Application:

I applied 3 coats followed by a quick dry top coat.

My Opinion:

The holo sparkle in this blend is so beautiful.I did not have any issues with the application.No issues to report.This is the perfect shade of pink for Valentines Day or any occasion. 

Queen Bitch by Firecracker Lacquer

Description:

Queen Bitch is described as a clear base glitter topper with a perfect mix of gold,silver,black,and fuchsia hex glitter.

Application: 

I applied 2 coats of Queen Bitch over 3 coats of Boss Bitch.I used the gold crown charms that came with the duo on my middle finger.

My Opinion:

The topper is amazing and looks perfect over Boss Bitch.I did not have any issues with the polish.

Black Cherry Cuticle Oil by Finger Lickin' Lacquer

This is a black cherry scented cuticle oil made by Finger Lickin' Lacquer. It smells so delicious! It does have a strong scent but if you love he smell of cherries like I do then you will love it.

When applied around my nails it absorbed nicely into my skin after rubbing it in.

The Beauty Quartet Box-Treat Yo Self-February 2015

Hello and Welcome!!

Well New Years is sneaking up on us fairly quickly. Do you have any special plans? I know some of you could possibly get engaged!!! I really don't know,it's just a possibility.I'm just spiting words.That would be amazing though.I would love to get engaged on New Years.Most of you may think I am married.I am not,but I am by common law.I have been with my man for 14 years and no marriage yet.Hopefully we will take that step soon.It's a looong story why we are not....you know,married!I know it will happen one day.

The Best Day Of The Year by Philly Loves Lacquer

Description:

The Best Day Of The Year is described as a dark fuchsia crelly filled with pink, dark pink, magenta, and red glitters of various shapes and sizes.

Application:

I applied 2 coats followed by a quick dry top coat.

My Opinion:

This is a very beautiful polish!! I love the color and combinations of glitters.No fishing for glitter was needed.This applied nicely with no issues.

Philly Loves Lacquers Extra:Annberry Sauce Lip Scrub

This photo above is Philly Loves Lacquers extra. It's a sugared strawberry flavored moisturizing lip scrub.How to use...Just pull that nifty tab right off,then rub your finger around in a circular direction.Then apply the product to your lips.You can either lick it off like I do or......gently wipe it off with a wash cloth.

Chocolate Waterfall by Digital Nails

Description:

Chocolate Waterfall is described as a dark brown jelly with gold, silver, and copper micro holo glitter.

Application:

I applied 2 light coats followed by a quick dry top coat.

My Opinion:

This is a fantabulous blend!!!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!! The formula is slightly thick making this polish a one coater.I used 2 coats just because I felt like it. LOL No issues to report. This polish is so sparkly.If brown is not your color...it is now!!

Digital Nails Extra: Remover Improver

This photo above is Digital Nails extra. It's a remover improver that conditions nail polish remover and it's scented like Cocoa Puffs.!! Something fresh and new to the indie market. I'm sorry but this product is kick-ass!!!!The product comes in a glass vial.This is not nail polish remover.It's actually ingredients you add to remover that will soften you skin leaving it feeling moisturized and smelling amazing. It is water,glycerine,jojoba oil,almond oil and cocoa puffs fragrance. What I did was I got a mason jar,poured 8oz of acetone in it.Then grabbed my Digital Nails Remover Improver and poured the entire vile into my mason jar and shook it up really good.You will need a larger container if you will be mixing 8oz.Mine ended up being 1 1/3 cups instead of 8oz/1cup.

My first thought was that since this product did separate in the vial before mixing with acetone,it would separate in the acetone as well. WRONG: The product did not separate at all once it was shook up and mixed into the acetone. I let the jar of acetone sit for 16 hours and there was no separation at ALL! As for the scent....Have you ever opened a box of Cocoa Puffs cereal? Well it smells just like that. Yummy right? The scent is not strong or overwhelming. It's actually a pleasant sweet smell.

Emeralds are a Girls Best Friend by Love,Angeline Polish

Description:

Emeralds are a Girls Best Friend is described as a emerald green holo with green flakies and green shimmer.

Application:

I applied 2 light coats followed by a fast drying top coat.

My Opinion:

I'm adoring this polish so much!It is such a fun and pretty color. Love,Angeline creates some beautiful blends.This polish is thick and that's why it is a one coater. I used 2 just because ..but 1 coat is enough to get that opaque finish you want.No issues to report.

Stuck on Love Nail Shields by Love, Angeline 

Love,Angeline Polish's extra is a sheet of 10 heart shaped nail shields.When I peeled off the shields,the hearts came up with the shields as well. I did have to get tweezers and pull off all of the hearts one by one which made it very time consuming.The shield did stick to my nail really well. Unfortunately when pulling the shield off of my nail it did smear the hearts a little. Oh well I need practice.

Pleasure In Your Base by Smokey Mountain Lacquers

Description:

Pleasure In Your Base is described as a bright blue creme with a foil-y finish.

Application:

I applied 2 light coats followed by a fast drying top coat.

My Opinion:

The formula is perfection. Not to thin or to thick.This blue is the most radiant shade of blue in my collection.It's really pretty.

Rose-Scented Body Whip by Smokey Mountain Lacquers

Southern Fancies Rose Scented Body Whip is an extra by Smokey Mountain Lacquers.This lotion is very moisturizing and leaves my skin feeling hydrated and refreshed. No greasy or dry feeling after application. It had a faint rose fragrance that does not overwhelm the senses. I really love it and I know you will too.

I applied 2 easy coats followed by a quick dry top coat.

My Opinion:

This is the most beautiful and perfect nail polish EVER! The consistency of this beauty is so amazing.The color is so pretty and it could be a one coater if applied carefully.I have never tried this brand before and now I'm wondering what the hell have I been thinking!I don't think I can stop looking at it.....BUT I have to!!

Merry and Bright by Cupcake Polish

Description:

Merry and Bright is described as a warm toned red linear holo with a touch of holo red glitter and bright red glitters.

Application:

I applied 2 light coats followed by a quick dry top coat.

My Opinion:

I think this is the most beautiful shade of red.What makes this polish unique is the added holo red and bright red glitters.The bright red glitters can be mistaken for bits of pigment in certain lighting but make no mistake,they are clearly tiny pieces of glitter.There's not much of the bright red glitters,they are kind of just scattered here and there.It's truly beautiful.This polish applied onto my nails evenly and smoothly.No issues,like staining or bumpiness. 

Eye's Made of Glimmering Coal by Elevation Polish

Description:

Eye's Made of Glimmering Coal is described as a metallic gunmetal grey linear holo with grey and silver micro flakies.

Application:

I applied 2 light coats followed by a quick dry top coat.

My Opinion:

This polish has a very intense holo sparkle!! I mean INTENSE! It is absolutely beautiful!!It's actually almost blinding,that's how intense the sparkle is.The formula was perfect and I didn't have any issues with dry time. I'm also pretty sure you can get away with using 1 coat of this blend.No staining or dry time problems.
